ENO TREE PLANTING DAY 2008 IN TURKEY

We planted 50 olive trees and 27 pine trees in our school garden on 22nd September 2008. We invited the Governor and National Education Manager of our town, Commanding Gendarme of our district, the Mayor and the parents to join the event. The Environment Club teacher made a speech on ENO Tree Planting Day.

Students sang songs and read poems about trees. A group of students also played a sketch telling Atatürk’s -the founder of Turkish Republic- love to nature and trees.

Our guests planted the first olive tree and then the students planted the others.

Everybody wished a "green planet" and a "world at peace".
